Natural Sciences Profile for Grades 10–11
The Natural Sciences Profile is a senior-school format for pupils who want to study mathematics, biology, chemistry and English in greater depth while completing the wider Ukrainian school programme.
It is a route for pupils considering areas such as biology, biotechnology, medicine, ecology, pharmacy or related fields.
What is included
- Advanced work in mathematics, biology, chemistry and English.
- Weekly intensive online lessons in the selected profile subjects.
- Two online class lessons with a teacher per month in other subjects.
- Preparation for the NMT in advanced subjects.
- A specialised group of up to 10 pupils.
- Support from a profile curator.
- Access to advanced and core materials, tests, additional resources and practical tasks through the learning platform.
The programme description says that pupils work through required profile and core assessments by the semester deadlines. Confirm the current study plan, assessments and NMT support with the admissions team before selecting the profile.
What a profile can and cannot do
A profile gives a pupil a clearer weekly focus. It does not replace the general school programme, and it does not make a future career decision on the pupil’s behalf. Families should choose it because the subjects fit the pupil’s interests and current goals, not because of a broad promise about a profession.
