The Physics and Mathematics Profile is a senior-school format for pupils who want more time for mathematics, physics and English while completing the wider Ukrainian school programme.
It can suit a pupil considering scientific, engineering or technology-related pathways, but it is first of all a school-study format: its value lies in deeper and more regular work with the selected subjects.
What the current Ukrainian profile includes
- Advanced work in mathematics, physics and English.
- Weekly intensive online lessons in the selected profile subjects.
- Two online class lessons with a teacher per month in other subjects.
- Preparation for the NMT in advanced subjects.
- A specialised group of up to 10 pupils.

The programme description says that pupils complete all required work in profile and core subjects, with a minimum required set in other subjects, by the end of each semester. Confirm the current assessment plan before enrolment.
Choosing this profile carefully
A stronger focus on mathematics and physics can be useful for a pupil interested in engineering, science or quantitative fields. It is not a substitute for regular independent practice. Ask to see the weekly timetable and compare it with the pupil’s NMT plan, other commitments and current level in the advanced subjects.
