The Business and Economics Profile is a senior-school format for pupils who want to devote more time to subjects connected with economics, business and related university directions while completing the general school programme.
It is a personalised programme for pupils who have begun to identify an economics-related direction and want to concentrate on the subjects most relevant to that choice.
What is included
- Advanced work in economic geography, mathematics and English.
- Weekly intensive online lessons in the selected profile subjects.
- Two online class lessons with a teacher per month in other subjects.
- Preparation for the NMT in advanced subjects.
- A specialised group of up to 10 pupils.
- Support from a profile curator.
- Access to advanced and core materials, tests, additional resources and practical tasks through the learning platform.
Pupils complete required work in advanced and core subjects by the end-of-semester deadlines. The final English page should explain the actual assessment requirements in plain language rather than rely on a general phrase such as “individual educational trajectory.”
A focused but broad education
The profile can be relevant to pupils considering economics, finance, accounting, management, marketing, entrepreneurship, international economics or related fields. It is not a professional qualification. The purpose is to create more structured time for relevant school subjects and NMT preparation.
