Olena Kuzmenko

Director, Dzherelo Online Education Centre

Olena Kuzmenko is a Candidate of Legal Sciences, Associate Professor and Honoured Education Worker. Her professional focus is distance school education, educational technology, contemporary education management and the operation of a distance-learning institution.

She has worked in education since 1996, combining teaching, research and legislative work. She has authored more than 130 academic publications, including co-authored textbooks, teaching guides and scholarly-practical commentaries. She has worked as a consultant to the parliamentary education and science committee on education innovation between 2009 and 2012.

Her experience as a parent of two daughters who studied for two years at a European private distance school informed her approach to education. She initiated the development of a Ukrainian distance-school concept, a licensed technology-enabled school and the methodological basis for online education under Ukrainian law.

She has worked as a distance-school director since September 2015 and has directed Dzherelo from its establishment in March 2016. Her work on distance school education has appeared in publications including BBC, Uriadovyi Kurier, Hromadske, Korrespondent and ICTV.

Oksana Ivchenko

Director, Dzherelo Plus Online Education Centre

Oksana Ivchenko graduated from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv in biochemistry, qualifying as a biochemist and teacher of biology and chemistry. She has a distinction-level qualification in management and organisation from International College Alsco and a Business and Financial English course at the London School of English.

She is an education manager with more than 15 years of management and team-coordination experience. She has worked as a project coordinator and innovation lead in an education corporation from 2018 to 2020, and then led support and account-management work at an online school from 2020 to 2026.

Her areas of work include digital education management, CRM and learning-management systems, personalised learning, process improvement and support for teachers and tutors.

Alina Hryn

Director, Dzherelo Primary School Branch

Alina Hryn graduated from the Faculty of Primary Education at the National Pedagogical Dragomanov University. In 2013, she obtained a master’s qualification in primary education, pedagogy teaching, primary-school teaching and practical psychology in education.

She began her teaching career in 2013, became the first primary teacher at the Dzherelo Primary School branch in 2019, and chaired the primary-school teachers’ methodological association from 2019 to 2024. In 2023, she received a letter of thanks from the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine for her contribution to education and science.

Her profile emphasises interactive methods, contemporary approaches to teaching and collaboration with pupils and colleagues.

Olena Biletska

Deputy Director for Academic and Educational Work

Olena Biletska began her professional work as a psychologist, gaining practical experience with children, teenagers, teachers and parents. She has worked as a deputy director for academic and educational work since 2011.

She brings experience in organising the educational process, coordinating teaching staff, supporting teachers methodologically and introducing contemporary educational approaches. Her focus is on creating a comfortable and safe learning environment, supporting pupils’ and teachers’ development, promoting teamwork and fostering a positive psychological climate.

She has led project work on communication, teamwork, leadership, emotional intelligence, critical thinking and effective interaction.
